A little mixed media

Hi all
It has been a while since I have blogged on a daily basis....Bad blogger that I am ,well I plan to rectify this from today so on Saturday I had a few crafty buddies round to my house for a little mixed media box altering ... we had a lovely time chatting and getting the boxes finished o I thought I would show the fabulous boxes that they all made the one above was the one I did. I used the Tim holtz weathered clock die and idea -ology clock face  ,metal locks, keys and buckles are all from the works. The ornate frame behind the metal clock face is a chipboard piece from scrapiniec. I used wild orchid flowers, heavy black gesso from prima art basics, tissue paper ,stencils lindys sprays and pebeo guilding wax in empire gold...
The boxes came from the works and here is what they started out as.

so here is the lovely Judiths  finished box
Here is the Lovely Linda's finished box

Here is Paul's finished box
Paul has a blog too if you would like to go and visit to see the fabulous projects paul has been creating will find his blog HERE ( )
I think you will agree that these boxes are just fantastic would never believe that this was their first ever attempt at an altered box .... suffice to say it wont be their last lol
There was also another crafter with us  Maxine .... who managed to take off before I got some pics of her masterpiece so pics to follow .....
Happy crafting
